Beginning on Saturday, July 2, the National Cherry Festival kicks off in Traverse City, filling eight days of summer fun in Traverse City. While many locals think they have a good grasp of the festival’s roots, you may be surprised at some of the interesting history of this incredibly popular Michigan tradition.
Although we’ve been in business in Traverse City for over sixty years, there are so many new folks moving to town these days that might not know too much about us. To introduce ourselves to our new neighbors, we wanted to take a minute to introduce our business, our brands, and most importantly, our philosophy to people who might not have heard of us before.
At Max’s, we’re very discerning about which brands we carry at our store. Simply put, if we wouldn’t put an appliance brand in our home, we wouldn’t suggest you should put it in yours.
